Diagnostic Care
Accurate answers, quickly.
At Woodland Veterinary Clinic, we are equipped with advanced diagnostic technology, so we can get to the bottom of what's going on and start the right treatment without delay.
Our services include:
Radiology
Our modern digital X-ray system delivers fast, accurate imaging with minimal radiation exposure. We use Fear Free handling techniques and, when needed, gentle sedation to keep your pet comfortable and ensure the clearest possible images. Results are reviewed the same day, with specialist radiologist interpretation available when additional insight is needed.
Complete In-House Diagnostics
Faster answers mean faster care. Our fully equipped in-house laboratory, including blood and urine analysers, allows us to deliver accurate same-day results, so treatment decisions can be made promptly when your pet needs it most.
In-House Microscopy
Our in-house microscopy allows us to examine skin and ear samples on the same day, providing precise diagnosis and ongoing monitoring of skin and ear conditions. Faster results mean we can start the right treatment sooner and adjust care as your pet responds.
Reference Laboratory Partnerships
We work closely with trusted local and international reference laboratories to provide a full range of advanced diagnostic testing. These partnerships allow access to specialised services including cytology, histopathology, urine and tissue cultures, as well as allergy and titer testing - ensuring your pet receives the most informed care possible.
Dental X-ray
Please refer to services under Dentistry & Oral Health.
Ultrasonography
We partner with a skilled mobile ultrasonographer to bring non-invasive, real-time ultrasound imaging directly to our clinic. Ultrasound allows us to assess internal organs safely and accurately, giving us valuable information to guide timely, well-informed treatment decisions.
Endoscopy
For conditions of the nose, airways, or digestive tract, including the safe removal of swallowed foreign objects, we offer minimally invasive endoscopy in-clinic, performed in partnership with Dr. Eugene Gorodesky. It's a gentle, effective option that often means a faster recovery for your pet.
